I am looking for Loop pass coaching games to improve?

I am looking for Loop pass coaching games to improve my player game.

John

Here are a couple of drill from our "Drills" Section.

The first shows how to coach a loop pass and the second (which you will find below in another answer) you can adapt so that each group does at least one loop per run.

I hope this helps

Here is the second drill

Set up a small pitch that is big enough to play 5 v 5 or 6 v 6 touch rugby. Add then to the sides of the pitch another channel maybe 5 metres wide. From above this will then look like a very large tennis doubles court. Defenders are not allowed in the outer corridor. Play begins with the team in possession attempting to make an agreed number of passes (2/3?). Play then progresses to allow the possession team to score but only in the outside channels. The score is only valid if the player receiving the ball has completed a loop with his team mate. e.g. players with the ball are numbered 1,2,3,4,5 from left to right. They play; keeping their position. After the designated number of passes (could be even just 1 pass) player 2 must pass to player 1; 2 loops, and receives a pass from 1 in the 'tram lines'. alternatively 4 passes to 5; 4 loops and receives pass from 5 in the other 'tramline'. Obviously all attackers change positions regularly to allow everyone to pass and loop. To make life a bit more difficult; narrow up the outer corridor. This will encourage the 'looper' to get onto a straight running line sooner. Works for me....
