Guide to Teach Preschool Gymnastics

Do you have a guide to instruct preschool gymnastics classes, including tumbling and basic gymnastic exercises for young children demonstrated and coaching techniques compatible with the age group are explained?

The answers is YES

Sportplan originates in the United Kingdom. So some of our pre-school language varies but the skills of gymnastics do not change.

Reception or Key Stage 0 is taught to 3 - 5 year olds

Keystage 1 is taught to 5-7 year olds

Keystage 2 is taught to 7 - 9 year olds

Hopefully if you look through these categories you will find everything you are looking for.

Yes, its called going on a British Gymnastics pre-school gymnastics and movement course. You should not coach pre-school as head coach without being a level 2 coacj in the discipline!

Preschool gym should be about fun and developmental moves and not tumbling!

It is really important that you are a qualified pre school coach under British Gymnastics and UKCC. At Pre-school age you can do a lot of damage to a child if you are not suitably trained. Additionally the whole concept is learning through play and about overall body control not actually performing "drills". Anyone who is involved with coaching pre-school gymnastics really needs to be aware of this.
