Interception - group activity, Group practices Netball

Description

• Red 2 has the ball and red 1 starts in the opposite corner
• Blue 1 runs forward and Red 2 passes a diagonal pass to Blue 1
• Red 1 moves on a diagonal to intercept the pass
• Following the interception red 1 feeds a straight pass onto Blue 2
• Red 2 then runs straight to receive a diagonal pass from Blue 2 and Blue 1 moves across to intercept this pass.

   

Coaching Points

• Once the worker has released the ball, she focuses solely on the ball in order to make the interception.
